WHAT IS REVERSE OSMOSIS (RO)?

Reverse Osmosis is a process where water is demineralized using a semi-permeable membrane at high pressure. Reverse Osmosis is osmosis reverse. So what is osmosis? Osmosis is most commonly observed in plant, if you don’t water your plant they wilt. A plant cell is a semi- premeable (water flows through the membrane but salt don’t) membrane with the living stuff on the inside in a salt solution.

Water is drawn intro the cell from the outside because pure water will move across a semi-premeable membrane to dilute the higher concentration of salt on the inside. This is howwater is drawn in from the ground when you water the plants. If your salt your plants (over fertilizer or spill some salt on the grass), the plant will wilt because the salt concentration on the outside of the cell is higher than the inside and water then moves across the membrane from the inside to the outside.

To reverse this process, you must overcome the osmotic pressure equilibrium across the membrane because the flow is naturally from dilute to concentrate. We want more pure water so we must increase the salt content in the cell (concentrate side of membrane), to do this we increase the pressure on the salty side of the membrane and force the wateracross. The amount of pressure is determined by the salt concentration. As we force water out, the salt concentration increase requiring even greater pressure to get more pure water.


WHAT DOES A CARBON FILTER DO?

Carbon is derived from either wood or coal ( or coconut shell). The starting material is heated in a inert atmosphere to convert it to pure carbon. The way it is process results in a very high surface area and an ability to adsorb various material. The capacity for the both organic and inorganic materials is high but carbon is usually use to adsorbing organic. Each organic and each type of carbon have a different adsorption capacity.

Carbon is used to adsorb organic, chromates, sulfides and chlorine, it is used to prevent strong oxidizing materials, such as preoxides, nitric acid, and chlorine from attacking membrane and it is used as a general adsorbent in recycling system.


WHAT IS IONIZATION?

Ionization is the process of converting liquids or particles wholly or partly into ions. Its simply means gaining or losing an electron. During Ionization, positive minerals and negative minerals are segregated accordingly to give Alkaline Ionized Antioxidant Water and Acidic water. Alkaline Ionize Antioxidant Water is full of Hydroxyl ions (OH-) and Acidic Water is full of Hydrogen ions (H+).


WHAT IS THE ACIDIC WATER?

The Acidic Water is Super-Oxidation water, it kills bacteria and viruses on contact and it helps to heal skin diseases such Eczema, Wounds, Cuts etc, and for any sterilization purpose. With a mild pH that close to the skin, it is very effective as a skin toner and also for hair conditioning. Regular usage improves skin texture and also stops dandruff.

WHAT IS pH AND WHY IS A BALANCED BODY pH VERY VITAL FOR HEALTH?
pH is the quantitative measurement of acidity or alkalinity of substance or solution. The pH scales is base on the number of hydrogen ions in the solution and runs from 0 to 14. ordinary tap water with an equal amount hydrogen ions and hydroxyl ions is measured as neutral or having a pH of 7. Acid solution is below pH7 while pH above that is alkaline.

The reason why pH so important for health is that living cells are ultra-sensitive to any changes in pH. The pH of blood must maintained within a very narrow range from 7.35 to 7.45, variances in anything more than a few tenths will most likely result in death. Cancer cells live in acidic environment while healthy cells is alkaline environment.

Body chemistry has a delicate range between pH 6.8 -7.4 for proper maintenance of health. The pH range internally is necessary for the whole body to function well physically, emotionally and mentally.
